ESR - Socially Responsible Company (for its acronym in Spanish)
obtained the distinctive ESR® for the first time by 2015. It is awarded annually in Mexico by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) and AliaRSE.
This distinctive credited companies to their employees, investors, customers, authorities and society in general, as a committed volunteer organization and publicly with a socially responsible management as part of their culture and business strategy.
What is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)?
It is the commitment to consciously and consistently comply integrally with the purpose of the company, both internally and externally, considering economic, social and environmental expectations of all its participants, showing respect for people, ethical values, the community and the environment, thus contributing to the construction of the common good and looking for the preservation of the environment and the sustainability of future generations.
How it works?
The obtaining of the distinctive ESR® is based on a process of self-assessment, supported through documents by the company and verified by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi). The distinctive ESR® is awarded to those companies that exceed 75% of the CSR index, which qualifies the Organization on 4 themes:
• Ethics and corporate governance.
• Quality of life in the company (social dimension of work).
• Bonding and commitment to the community and its development.
• Care and preservation of the environment.
In Mexico, about 1,000 companies are ESR ®, and Torre Mayor is the first developer of AAA Corporate Buildings in obtaining this award.
