ESR - Socially Responsible Company (for its acronym in Spanish)

DistintivoESRLogoTorreMayor has been awarded with the ESR ® badge for the first time in 2015, a recognition awarded annually in Mexico by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) and AliaRSE.

This award recognize companies to their employees, investors, customers, authorities and the general public, as an openly committed and voluntary organization with a social responsible management as part of its culture and business strategy.

What is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)?

It is a conscious and continuous commitment to fully comply with the purpose of the company, both internally and externally, taking into account the economic, social and environmental expectations of all participants, by showing respect for people, ethical values, community and the environment, in consequence contribute to build the common good of society and preserving the environment and sustainability of future generations.

How it works?
ESR ® it is based on a self-assessment process, supported by the company documentation and verified by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi). The ESR ® is given to those companies that exceed 75% of the CSR index, which qualifies the organization in 4 themes:

• Ethics and corporate governance.
• Quality of life in the company (social dimension of work).
• Linking and community involvement and development.
• Care of the natural resources and preservation of the environment.

In Mexico, about 1,000 companies are ESR ®, and Torre Mayor is the first developer of AAA Corporate Buildings in obtaining this award.

It is the result of actions and commitments that Torre Mayor has and has had with its community throughout these 12 years of operation, being a company with a business vision that integrates the respect for individuals, ethical values, community and the environment with the same management of the company. As well as adding value to the brand and profitability, also accredits companies to their stakeholders such as employees, investors, customers, authorities and society in general, as a voluntary organization and publicly committed to a social responsible management as part of its culture and business strategy .
